PRIME MOTIONE-STOP, feed hold and reset
There are three ways to stop a machine from this app, and they are not interchangeable.
Feed hold — pause
Hold decelerates the machine to a controlled stop and turns the spindle off. Position is kept, so Resume picks up exactly where it left off with the spindle restored first.
This is the one to reach for when you want to look at something: check a cut, clear chips, listen to a noise you did not like. It costs nothing to use.
Stop — end the job
Stop ends the running program. It does not resume afterwards. Use it when you have decided the job is over.
E-STOP — stop everything
The red panel at the right of the navigation bar, reachable from every screen.
Three taps, each within a second of the last. The button brightens as it arms, and the count resets if you pause. Three rather than one is deliberate: an on-screen emergency stop that fired on a single accidental brush would go off constantly in a workshop, and one that cries wolf is one people learn to work around.
What it does depends on the moment:

After an alarm
An alarm is the controller stopping itself — a limit hit, a failed probe, lost position. Clearing it lets the machine accept commands again; it does not fix what caused it.
